The Shed Restaurant: Comfort Food & American Brunch in Westbury, NY

I am normally in town for work and regularly go to The Shed in Plainview, but since I was in another area for work, it was a pleasant surprise to find another one close to my hotel. The location is part of a residential building, but has plenty of parking. Once you walk in, you notice the two story ceilings and trees. This is a much larger and nicer location than the Plainview one and I enjoyed it. The food and the drinks are just as good as the other Sheds, so I had no issues coming back here a few times. Happy to be a regular!

I had a really nice experience at this restaurant. The food was fresh and tasted great, and the portions were good for the price. Everything came out on time and was prepared well. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Overall, it was a good place to eat and I would definitely come back again.

The atmosphere at The Shed is cozy, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed meal or a night out. Overall, The Shed exceeded our expectations in every way. With great food, great service, and a great vibe, it’s a place we’d happily return to again and again. Highly recommended!

What a gem The Shed is! It was around noon on a Monday, from the moment we walked in, the friendly staff made us feel right at home. We were on the waitlist for less than 5 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. The Shrimp and Chips & Steak and Eggs, all exceptional in both flavor and presentation, and the Air Quotes Sangria mocktail was delightful. The lively atmosphere, great music, the well stocked full bar and patio creates the perfect dining experience. I love that they serve brunch all day. It makes The Shed is an excellent choice for both a casual outing with friends or a brunch date. Bonus points for their spotless restrooms, which shows how much they care about the details. Can’t wait to come back!

I have been to the Sayville and Plainview locations of the Shed before, so this was my first time at this location. When we arrived early on a Saturday morning, the restaurant was very crowded, but they were able to get us a table for two very quickly. My usual at the Shed is the Brioche French Toast. It is super delicious and I highly recommend it! The ambiance is very nice. It's refined yet casual.

This place has become my go-to brunch spot in Long Island. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great brunch experience. It’s always packed, but you can usually find a spot at the Garden City location.

The Shed in Westbury is such a great spot — the food, ambiance, and overall vibe are always perfect. Even without reservations, the wait is usually shorter than expected and worth it. I always order the Cobb salad — it has everything you want in a Cobb: fresh, filling, and absolutely on point every time. After sharing it on my Instagram (@what.would.julia.eat), I influenced my friends to try it too, and they were not disappointed! We also had the biscuits, which were so delicious they made the perfect after-lunch dessert. Highly recommend The Shed

Visited The Shed for a casual dinner with a friend and had a really pleasant experience. This Westbury location feels more spacious and refined compared to the Plainview one — high ceilings, nice lighting, and well-placed plants make the space comfortable and inviting. Drinks were nicely presented and great for photos.For food, we ordered the chicken & waffle, fish sandwich, and their classic salad. Everything tasted solid, well-executed, and satisfying, with no major complaints.
